The Overgate Shopping Centre There's nothing quite like the Overgate experience in Dundee. Set against a spectacular curved glass wall, the only single sided mall in Europe houses some of the most famous fashion brands in the world. The scenic surroundings offer many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors at any time of the year. The Park is staffed during most daylight hours.
Forfar Loch Country Park www.angus.gov.uk/leisure/rangerservice/forfarloch.htm Forfar Loch Country Park situated on the west side of Forfar. With woodland, grassland and wetland habitats the park is a haven for wildlife and visitors throughout the year.
Crombie Country Park www.angus.gov.uk/leisure/rangerservice/crombie.htm Crombie Country Park is 102 hectares in area, which includes Crombie Loch as well as broadleaf and conifer woodlands. With its scenic loch and woodlands it is a haven for visitors whatever the season.
Camperdown Wildlife Centre
The centre is open all year round – March – Sept – Mon- Sun 10 am – 4.30 pm Oct – Feb – 10 am – 3.30 pm
Camperdown Wildlife Centre offers a great day out for children young and old. There is plenty to do and see at the zoo with a fantastic Pirates Play Area and small Carnival area.
Glamis Castle Explore the legacy of ancient peoples, kings and queens, adventurers and inventors. This area is also Scotland’s ancient and historic heartland, whose roots begin with some of Scotland’s ancient people – the Picts, the early Scottish Kings and the Declaration of Independence in 1320 and the ancestral home of the late Queen Mother at Glamis Castle, which is open to visitors.

Broughty Ferry Beach
This beach has been awarded the Blue Flag - an environmental award given to beach operators who make a special effort to manage their coastal environment and beaches. To attain the Blue Flag, the community and its beach operators have to fulfil 29 criteria covering water quality, environmental education and information provision, environmental and safety services.

Sitting imposingly at the mouth of the River Tay. Built in 1496 on a rocky promontory, it has faced many sieges and battles. These have left their scars – marks made by cannon shot are still visible. During the 18th Century it fell to ruin, to be rebuilt in the 1860s as part of the Crimean War effort.
Broughty Castle Museum houses fascinating displays on the life and times of Broughty Ferry, its people, the environment and the wildlife that live close by. Situated at the mouth of the Tay, the Castle has a magnificent view over the river and is only minutes away from Broughty Ferry Beach and Esplanade.
There is always something to see and do, with a changing programme of events, activities and displays.
