Golf reviews

Thank you for a successful family golf tournament. Everyone had a great time, really enjoyed the venue and the meal was super. The golfers found the course to be challenging yet manageable and had a fantastic game. I understand that next years’ organiser is keen to do it again at Kingennie. The staff were fabulous.

Wedding reviews

 Just a short message to say many thanks to you for all the help you gave to Lee & Louise before and during their wedding last Saturday at Forbes of Kingennie.  It was a beautiful day and with the help you gave made sure everything ran without a hitch.  Can you also pass on my thanks to Ron who ensured the speeches and meal went smoothly and without problem.  The happy couple have arrived in Mauritius and are enjoying  themselves.  I would have no hesitations in recommending your resort for any type of function.  Once again, many thanks.

Conference Reviews

Please pass on to your staff, our thanks for the fab service we received from everyone at Kingennie. We had a great day and all plans went well despite the poor weather. We would certainly use the lodge again if it was available. By the way the standard and quality of the food was excellent! it was delivered to the table very efficiently and we made it back up to the lodge on time. !

Holiday reviews

To all the Staff at Forbes of Kingennie, thank you to all of you for making our recent D750 Reunion weekend such a success. Our members voted it the best yet and praised all aspects of your work, especially the food and the service. All of you have excellent customer presentation. I organise dinners at the House of Commons, at the Carlton Club in St James`s and at our  local Michelin-starred Manor House Hotel and Country Club at Castle Combe . Your performance at our weekend equalled the best that those establishments have to offer. Needless to say we will be back in 2010.

I would like to thank you for the most wonderful weekend we have just spent at the Leannan Boat House. It puts self catering in a different light. The boat house is excellent and very well equipped to a high standard. We have visited 4 and 5 star hotels around the world, and they are not so nice as this boat house was. We were very impressed. I work for a large oil company in Aberdeen and have already been telling people what a lovely stress-free weekend we had in beautiful surroundings. Top marks to staff who were very helpful and couldn't have been nicer. We will definitely visit again. It’s nice to know a place that can be recommended to friends.

Fishing reviews

We were at your fantastic resort for the Macmillan Cancer Fund and what a fantastic day’s fishing we had. The hospitality was the best I have ever known and I will definitely be back. Your staff are a credit to you and the manager was so helpful.

I have just spent the weekend at the fly fishing retreat. Thank you both for giving us  such a fabulous time. I loved the whole thing. The staff went out of their way to provide help and support, nothing was too much trouble, and accomodation of a very high standard.
