To fully enjoy the pleasures of fly fishing in particular, it is vital to master the essential casting and presentation skills. The best way to learn fly fishing skills properly is to learn with a trained instructor.

Fishing tuition is available at Kingennie Fishings, near Dundee, in Angus, for individuals or groups from our instructors. One hour's fly fishing lessons costs £30 per person, with children free if accompanied by a paying adult. Fly fishing lessons include all tackle hire, permits and tuition. Bait and spinning fishing tuition is also available. The hour's fishing tuition covers safety aspects, fly casting, and a question and answer session to allow pupils to improve their casting skills. Most fishing tuition sessions end with a trout for the table.
